1960s “Utensilo 1” Wall Storage Unit by Dorothee Maurer Becker for Design M. Some discoloration to plastic, and some rust to the metal hooks and clips. An iconic design classic from the late 60's.
This wall organizer is made from molded ABS plastic. The “wall-all” unit features multiple plastic pockets in which to store any number of items, as well as several chrome hooks. It was photographed for the cover of the seminal l’Utopie du tout Plastique 1960-1973. This design has a recent re-issue by Vitra, but this is the original.
